2007 SILVERADO 1500 NOTE: 2007 is a transition year for Chevrolet, they produced a new and "Old Body Style" (really 2006 body style) for the 2007 Silverado 1500. These models require two different drawer systems, make sure you are selecting the correct variant.

CAB-SIDE GAP: On each 8' system, there will be 20" + .5" buffer for manufacturing slack of empty space between the cab of the truck and the end of the DECKED system and the tailgate. A perfect spot to add a DECKED tool box or transfer tank.

5. Will there be a gap between my Drawer System & Tailgate?
   - Depending on your truck’s make and model, there may be a small gap between the rear of the Drawer System and the tailgate. The DECKED Drawers require approximately 4 inches of clearance to open, while the first 5.5 inches of the drawer are occupied by the handle housing and tapered design. As a result, accessing or removing items from the drawers with the tailgate closed is extremely difficult, adding an extra layer of security for your stored gear.
