Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://truckbedcentral.com and any purchase you make from Truck Bed Central ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the "last updated" date reflects the current version. Your continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. The Terms in force at the time you place an order govern that order.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to purchase from us. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
You agree that the information you provide — including shipping address, phone number and vehicle details — is accurate and current.
Products, pricing and availability
We try hard to describe products accurately, but we do not warrant that product descriptions, images, specifications or other content are error-free, complete or current. Manufacturers change specifications and packaging without notice.
Product images are representative. Finish, hardware and included accessories may differ from photographs, particularly where a manufacturer photographs a product on a different vehicle than yours.
All prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable sales tax, which is calculated at checkout. Prices are subject to change without notice. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or system error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you in full, whether or not the order has been confirmed.
Availability shown on the site reflects our best information but is not a guarantee. If an item is unavailable after you order, we will contact you to offer a substitute, a backorder, or a full refund.
Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship the product, not when you receive an order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel any order for reasons including product unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or a shipping address we cannot serve.
We may limit quantities per person, per household, or per order.
Fitment information
Fitment data comes from manufacturers and is verified by our staff, but vehicle configurations vary — bed lengths, cab types, factory options, existing aftermarket parts and trim packages all affect whether a part will bolt on.
It is your responsibility to confirm the part suits your specific vehicle and intended use. Our fitment guarantee describes what we do when our published fitment data turns out to be wrong. Call us before ordering if your configuration is unusual.
Shipping and returns
Shipping terms are set out in our Shipping Policy and return terms in our Return & Refund Policy. Both are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the carrier, but we handle carrier claims for damage in transit on your behalf as described in the Shipping Policy.
Installation and vehicle safety
Products sold on this site are vehicle accessories that may affect vehicle handling, visibility, load capacity or safety systems if installed incorrectly.
- Follow the manufacturer's installation instructions and torque specifications exactly.
- If you are not confident, have the product installed by a qualified professional.
- Do not exceed the load ratings published by the product manufacturer or your vehicle manufacturer.
- Some products may not be street legal in every jurisdiction. Compliance with local law is your responsibility.
- Installing aftermarket accessories may affect your vehicle manufacturer's warranty. Check with your dealer.
We provide installation guidance as a convenience. We are not responsible for installation performed by you or a third party.
Intellectual property
The site's design, text, graphics, layout, and our logos are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, or create derivative works from the site without written permission.
Product names, brand names, logos and product images are the property of their respective manufacturers and are used to identify the products we sell as an authorized dealer.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the site for any unlawful purpose; scrape, harvest or systematically extract data; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system; interfere with the site's operation; upload malicious code; or misrepresent your identity.
Disclaimer of warranties
Except as expressly stated in our Warranty Policy and as required by law, the site and all products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Products carry the warranties offered by their manufacturers. We pass those through and help you claim them; we do not extend or replace them.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Truck Bed Central and its officers, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, vehicle damage, or loss of use, arising from your use of the site or any product purchased through it.
Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you actually paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Truck Bed Central from claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the site, or your installation or use of a product in a manner contrary to the manufacturer's instructions.
Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the matter informally for at least 30 days. Most disputes are a misunderstanding that a phone call solves.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
